Australia were stuck with a big couple of blows when the selectors decided to send back Michael Hussey and Doug Bollinger. This leaves them with even a more inexperienced side than before – and it also means that Hussey will be replaced by Dave Warner in the line-up.
India will continue to go into the game with the same side, given that they will not feel compelled to change the batting line-up. What they could look at is the bowling – they had gone in with only four bowlers and struggled at the end of the innings. Munaf Patel could be given a chance in place of Vinay Kumar.
